Myloi Achaias produces 30 different types of flour at their facilities and the company employs a total of 32 people.

Recertification with ISO 22000:2005
On 17/3/2014, the company’s ISO 22000:2005 system (Food Safety Management System) was recertified by the TÜV AUSTRIA HELLAS organization.
2012
New Investments
In July 2012, the company expanded its warehouse space and installed 2 new machines for packaging 1 kg, 3 kg, 5kg and 10 kg bags.
Additionally, more than €650,000 was invested in a controlled atmosphere disinfestation chamber which was installed by the Dutch company EcO2.

On 30/11/2010 the company received ISO 22000:2005 (Food Safety Management System) certification from TÜV AUSTRIA HELLAS.

A new beginning in new premises
In April 2010, the company’s new facilities in Dafnoula, Achaia, were completed, making the dream of Andreas Bitas, father of Sofoklis, come true.
The new premises required an investment of over 3 million euros (stainless steel flour silos, a grain and flour chemical analysis laboratory, as well as a state-of-the-art bakery).
The company was named “MYLOI ACHAIAS” – S. BITAS SINGLE-MEMBER LTD.
2009
New Investment in Dafnoula, Achaia
In July 2009, the company began its investment in a new facility in Dafnoula, Achaia with state-of-the-art machinery and a capacity of 1,200 tons per month.
1995
Sofoklis Bitas takes over at the “helm” of the company
In 1995, the company passed to Sofoklis Bitas who continued to operate mill.
1994
Kylindromyloi Toskon
In the summer of 1994, the mechanical equipment at the mill was renewed and capacity was increased with 3 roller mills. The company was named “KYLINDROMYLOI TOSKON”.
1963
A New Mill
Andreas Bitas created a small new mill, with 2 roller mills and a capacity of 20 tons per month. This mill met the needs of the village and the surrounding areas and had a staff of three.
1900
Establishment of the Mill
In the early 1900s a small watermill owned by the Bitas family was established in the village of Toskes, a few kilometres outside Patras.
